2020 Primary Trials Gala
The 2020 Primary Trials Gala is to be held at the St Albans School on Saturday, 2nd May, 2020 at 5pm.
The 2020 trials gala is open to Year 5 and Year 6 (for 2019/20 school year) children attending primary school within the St Albans District boundary. If you need to check whether your school is within the boundary then refer to the page on the side menu St Albans District Schools.
The gala is used as a basis for selecting the St Albans District team to compete in the Hertfordshire Inter-District Primary Schools Championships on Friday 5th June, 2020 at Watford Woodside.
St Albans were winners of this gala in 2019, 2018 and 2017, a close 2nd in 2016 behind Dacorum, close 2nd behind Watford in 2015, and winners in 2014, 2012, and 2011. The 2019 win was the 6th in in 9 years. Previous years results can be found on the Herts Schools Swimming website here.
A level 4 Swim England (previously called ASA) licence has issued for this gala. For those submitting an Swim England number on their entry, their times will be submitted to Swim England for publication on the Rankings database (subject to licence given).
